GSO does offer a linear track focuser which seems to be an upgrade to controlling slippage, but I have no first hand experience as to actual performance. I would second that on the Moonlite. Trying to do planetary imaging with the standard focuser is nigh on impossible. you will need to leave the original focuser as-is as the mirror will still need to be racked in and out when you add barlows/diagonals/cameras. The only reason I switched to the Moonlite was so that I could use a binoviewer -- I absolutely love the KineOptics focuser for single-eyepiece use.
