WebDying Light 1 was always great. Using its release as an excuse for DL2's shortcomings is not a fair comparison. DL1 always had its core gameplay and mechanics that have lasted 8 years, unlike DL2 which has plenty of issues that are needing addressing, as shown with this year's roadmap.
