WitrynaMy current build runs 512 tons and can have 12 collector limpets active (4 5A controllers), and can still run a 6A shield. Pretty sure it also has the edge on speed. Anaconda is more maneuverable. Cutter feels like it has really weak lateral thrusters. I would much rather use it for core mining. Witryna28 maj 2024 · A Cutter with awesome shields, speed and AX weapons does seem to be the go to ship for all things Thargoid. Maneuvering is lacking but light years better than a Type-10. Besides maneuvering isn't how to fly a Cutter or a Type-10. Speed makes a big difference. A corvette can be amazing at that, and a well configured cutter is just about invulnerable in all but the very highest level wing pirate assassination missions. This way you only need to nose up a tiny bit to hit with plasma or something. On mine I run a huge efficient thermal vent beam and have the 2 large points with plasma.
